Suspect stabs pregnant woman on Bronx subway train

Two straphangers — including a pregnant woman — were stabbed on a crowded Bronx subway Thursday night, police sources said.

Derrick Wilson, 50, was sitting next to the two victims — Shaday Tripp, 24, who is pregnant, and Zakia Lewis, 21 — in a northbound train on the 2 and 5 line, when they bumped into him at 6:40 p.m., sources said.

That sparked an argument that escalated when Wilson plunged a knife into Tripp’s neck and Lewis’ left bicep, sources said.

He bolted when the train reached the Prospect Ave. station, tossing the knife from the elevated platform to the roof of a nearby building, sources said.

But Wilson didn’t get far.

A group of good Samaritans chased after him and held him until police arrived.

Wilson faces a slew of charges including attempted murder, assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.

Medics took both women to Lincoln Hospital in critical but stable condition, officials said.

Tripp and her baby are expected to survive the attack, cops said
