From the bushes to the streets.
Melissa McCarthy is taking on the role of Sean Spicer for “Saturday Night Live” once again this week and this time, she took her moving podium for spin outside the studio.
The funnywoman was spotted outside CNN riding the podium-turned-segway through the busy New York City streets.
Elana Zak, an editor for CNN Money, documented the soon-to-be sketch titled “Spicer Returns” on Twitter.
“The things you see in New York City. Melissa McCarthy riding Sean Spicer’s podium through Midtown,” one Twitter user wrote.
The scene was filmed near the CNN offices on 58th street on Friday morning.
It’s unclear what the skit covers, but McCarthy already poked fun at Spicer reportedly hiding in the bushes for this week’s promo.
The “Bridesmaid” star shared a GIF to Instagram on Thursday decked out as Spicer moving around angrily with the caption “straight out da bushes.”
The joke came after a Washington Post reporter said Spicer was “hiding in the bushes” to avoid reporters after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
WaPo later offered a correction stating Spicer was “among the bushes” not “in the bushes.”
However, only time will tell if that correction will stop “SNL” from serving up some jokes about the press secretary running for cover in shrubbery.
