A woman who got separated from her husband after a night out was cornered and attacked by a would-be rapist who followed her off a Brooklyn subway, cop sources said Wednesday.
The 39-year-old victim got off at the wrong stop and wound up on a southbound N train at about 4 a.m. Friday, officials said.
That’s where the suspect approached her, started talking to her and groped her breasts, she told cops.
She got off the train at the Bay Parkway exit in Bensonhurst and tried to get away, but he followed her outside, wrapped his arms around her, dragged her down and got on top of her, police said.
The man tried to rape her, but she yelled for help and he ran off, cops said.
