Conrad Hilton lashed out in court Wednesday, using a homophobic slur during his arraignment as a judge set his bail at $ 90,000 and ordered him to check into a hospital.
The derogatory remark was not caught on camera, but those in the court room were able to hear it, according to the celebrity gossip site. The reported incident comes days after video emerged showing him unleashing a homophobic rant during his arrest on Saturday.
The judge overseeing the case ruled Wednesday that Hilton would only be permitted to be released to his father, Rick Hilton, and that he must go to a hospital.
Video of the hearing published by TMZ showed Hilton mouthing words in the background as the judge detailed his ruling to the younger brother of Paris Hilton and his attorney, Robert Shapiro.
The hearing concluded with Hilton agreeing to take the conditions stated by the judge seriously.
“I am sorry for disrespecting this entire courtroom…” he said. “I am not obsessed with hookers and I’m sorry.”
Hilton was arrested on Saturday after police discovered him outside of his ex-girlfriend Hunter Salomon’s home, where has was in possession of a Bentley he allegedly stole from her dad, Rick Salomon.
Hunter has a restraining order against Hilton, which he violated by showing up at her home. In addition to the felony auto theft, Hilton was hit with misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order and contempt of court.
Video captured Hilton on a homophobic tirade during his arrest, during which he accused a police officer of touching his penis. He also allegedly said the n-word, according to TMZ, which obtained the video.
A separate video, reportedly shot on April 20 and published Wednesday by the Daily Mail, shows a stone-faced Hilton asking Rick Salomon to help him win his daughter back.
“I want Hunter, please make me want her more,” Hilton says in a monotone voice. “Please teach me to be the guy that she deserves.”
The judge overseeing Hilton’s case chose a hospital in Houston called The Menniger Clinic for Hilton to attend.
