VIDEO: Rockies, Cubs game postponed due to hailstorm

The Cubs caught one hail of a break.

Fresh off their six-hour, 18-inning Sunday night loss against the Yankees, the Chicago Cubs flew into Denver hours later for a series against the Rockies, only to have the game get postponed.

A massive hailstorm engulfed Coors Field, with golf-ball sized hailstones pouring onto the field, forcing the Rockies to delay the start of the game.

After about an hour and 20 minutes they decided to postpone the game.

A split double-header will be played on Tuesday, starting at 2:10 ET, giving the Cubs plenty of time to catch up on some sleep.
