Ezekiel Elliott involved in altercation with bouncer in Dallas

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was reportedly involved in an altercation at a bar in Dallas late Sunday night.

According to Dallas’ 105.3 FM The Fan, Elliott engaged in a physical altercation with a bouncer at Clutch Bar. No arrests have been reported in connection with the incident, according to ESPN.

The Cowboys are reportedly aware of the incident, which could put the 21-year-old under further scrutiny from the NFL as the league continues its investigation into Elliott’s alleged assault of an ex-girlfriend last year.

Elliott was accused of assaulting Tiffany Thompson in Florida in February and July of 2016 and then five months later in Columbus, Ohio.

Elliott, a former Ohio State Buckeyes running back who rose to NFL stardom as a rookie last season, denied the accusations, was not arrested and did not face charges related to the incidents.

NFL investigators interviewed Elliott in October but have yet to levy a punishment. ESPN has reported that Elliott could face a one- or two-game suspension and that he is preparing a response to the league. The NFL has denied that a decision has been made regarding a punishment.

Elliott also recently attracted off-the-field attention in March when he exposed a woman’s breast during a St. Patrick’s Day parade in Dallas.
