Even Steve Bartman wasn’t going to stop Kyle Schwarber.
The Cubs left fielder, known more for his power at the plate, showed he could get it done with the glove to by making the play of the night for the Cubs, diving into the stands for a catch in the top of the 12th inning.
With one out in the inning, Chase Headley popped a ball up down the left field line with Schwarber and third baseman Kris Bryant chasing it down.
Schwarber got their first as the 235-pound slugger made the grab by flipping over the wall and into the front row.
Never underestimate Schwarber’s athleticism.
