Mr Blazer worked for the FIFA Executive Committee, where he became a confidential informant for the FBI and the IRS.
It was later revealed that Blazer had a $ 6,000 month apartment in Trump Tower for his cats.
Mary Mulligan, his lawyer, said in a statement: “His misconduct, for which he accepted full responsibility, should not obscure Chuck’s positive impact on international soccer.
“With Chuck’s guidance and leadership, CONCACAF transformed itself from impoverished to profitable, with substantial benefits and improvements to all member associations, players and fans.”
